I only have six shifts left on labor and delivery as an RN. I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to my fabulous nursing, midwifery, and medicine colleagues!
Unfortunately, I'm starting as a CNM in a different area, with all sorts of new people, and in a relatively new women's health facility. It is literally like starting over from square one again. I'm going to be so green that I'll be fluorescent!
Just two more weeks until I start as a CNM.

It is hard leaving everything you know to start somewhere completely new and foreign but hey! You're a CNM with your very first CNM job! Plus, you know where everyone will be if you want to go visit them at your old job :)
