fabric softener in a spray bottle will help kill the bubbles in the case of an overflow.

I would kill anyone that would put bubble bath in our jacuzzi.

On another note...if you are *actually* wearing a bathing suit in a hot tub....rinse and double rinse your bathing suit first and NEVER wash your bathing suit in the washing machine with detergent. It upsets the balance so badly in a hottub and is expensive to correct.

LOL. My daughters (who were then 7 and 5) did that in our jetted tub when we first bought our house. YIKES!

In addition to the mounds of bubbles, it also results in some sort of mold growth in the jet tubes, which then spews into the tub as black particulate matter every time you use the tub--until you figure out that dumping a half gallon of bleach and a cup of dishwasher detergent into the tub and letting it run for 30 minutes cleans it all out (seriously, this is what the manufacturer recommended--smelled AWEFUL).
